Network Availability Monitor (NAM)

Verifies the presence of network connectivity of a server or web application. This is most commonly used to check the network availability of a device such as a switch/router or to check the availability of a particular web site or web page.

Resource Availability Monitor (RAM)

Monitors the health status of a server's hardware resources such as CPU, memory, and disk usage. The service will alert in the event that a usage threshold of one of the aforementioned resources has been met. The usage thresholds can be customized to your needs.

Service Availability Monitor (SAM)

Verifies the presence of a particular process by checking whether or not the process is in a "running" state. Most commonly used to monitor the availability of a database or application residing on a server.
