Desktop Support Service (DSS)

For less than $1.50 a day per user, Samba Networks can provide your organization with 24-hour, unlimited tech support for your employees. Problems are first addressed via remote control of the users desktop. If the problems can't be resolved using this method, then Samba Networks will make an onsite visit at no extra charge. DSS provides your company's employees and workstations with:

OS support. Whether your employees use Windows XP or Mac OS X, the Desktop Support Service can provide technical assistance regarding both types of operating systems.

Hardware warranty facilitation. If it's determined that problems caused are due to hardware failure, Samba Networks will work with your desktop or laptop vendor on your behalf to resolve the issue instead of your employees in order to minimize lost productivity.

Microsoft Office for Windows or Mac Support. We can usually answer common questions with Outlook/Entourage, Word, Excel and PowerPoint on the spot. If we can't, we'll spend the time to research the question and come back with an answer.

Server Administration Service (SAS)

Often time's companies need to run a unique application that must reside on a server in-house. The Server Administration Service provides monitoring and support for this equipment. Once the service is active, Samba Networks can monitor hardware and software information for any indication of failure. In the event of a problem we start to troubleshoot the issue remotely, if required we make an onsite visit at no additional charge. SAS provides your company with the following:

OS support. Whether its issues with Windows 2000/2003 Server, Mac OS X Server, or Linux, the Server Administration Service can support issues regarding the server's operating system.

Hardware and software warranty facilitation. If it's a hardware failure or a bug in a software vendor's application, we'll work with them to resolve the issue and get the system back to operation.

Availability Monitoring Service included. As an SAS subscriber your server is automatically added to our Host Monitor service, which monitors all aspects of the server such as hardware resources, network connectivity, and whether or not critical applications are in a "running" state. At the mere sign of trouble we are immediately notified of what the problem may be.
